Selective coaching for competitive players who are serious about improvement. From 1600 FIDE to Grandmaster level.
How it works
I work with a small number of students at a time. Sessions are conducted online and structured around what you actually need — not a generic syllabus. Before we start, I'll look at your games and ask about your goals, so the work is targeted from the first session.
Most students come to me for opening preparation — building a coherent repertoire that fits their style, understanding the plans behind the moves, and preparing for specific opponents. But coaching goes beyond openings: I'll identify recurring patterns in your losses, work on your decision-making in critical moments, and help you understand what to aim for in different types of positions.
I've coached players up to the highest competitive level — including serving as one of Praggnanandhaa's coaches during the FIDE Candidates Tournament 2024. At the national team level, I've been assistant coach for India's Olympiad and Asian Games teams, including India's historic double gold at the 2024 Chess Olympiad. That experience shapes how I work with individual students: I know how elite players think about preparation and how to build a repertoire that holds up under pressure.
Is this right for you?
